Designed by M&E is a couple owned small business. We started in Feb 2021 and the Etsy community has been amazing! I never believed we would see this amount of success. I sincerely want to thank my customers!!!
As the “E” (Edwina) in M&E, I grew up in a family-owned florist. I never thought of my ability to design flowers as a talent, for me it was more of a learned necessity. With all the Etsy feedback, emails and even cards I see it more as a talent today. I make everything in my shop, what you see is what you get. I work hard to obtain top quality silks and keep them affordable.
I met the “M” (Mark) many years ago. He was a career solider until 2016 when he was hurt in Afghanistan. He had 26 years in the military and I followed him to support his military career, and we raised 6 amazing young adults, and now we have 10 incredible grandchildren. We have a son that’s a 2 time Leukemia survivor, and at times I was unable to work. So, I obtained my Master’s Degree in Business.
Since Mark’s medical retirement we settled in KY to be close to the children. With the success of Designed by M&E, Mark has been able to completely retire and he helps me with shipping, photo and so much more as his able. I’m hoping to retire soon from my government job and make my Etsy business my career.
